R2: You will need to hold it to get to flight speed and leave when slowing down.You are now on your broom, flying into the sky, and here are the controls that players have to keep in mind (PS5): To use your Flying Broom, press L1+Circle (PS5) and LB+B (XBOX). If you spot a “ no-flying” icon beside your mini-map, you will not be able to get on your broom there. This includes inside Hogwarts and Hogsmeade as the two most prominent inclusions. There are certain areas in the game where flying is prohibited. For this, players must meet up with Imelda Reyes on the Quidditch Pitch, who will take it further. You will also get the chance to partake in a side quest of doing time trials with your new broom to test it for Albie Weekes, who will offer you enhancements. There will be three to four types of broom, each priced at 600 Galleons. This store will be unlocked as soon as you finish Flying Class. Players have to journey to Hogsmeade and meet Albie Weekes, the shop owner of Spintwitches Sporting Needs. Once you land back on the ground after the whistle goes, it will be the quest’s end, and now you can purchase your own Flying Broom. Additionally, there will be guidance provided by Everett Clopton, enabling you to learn more tricks and better control of the broom as you fly high. The quest will teach you how to fly with a broom, including going fast and moving around at different angles. You will have to visit the Flying Class Lawn Foo Flame present around the Bell Tower Wing to get started.
It is unlocked immediately after finishing the Jackdaw’s Rest quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This is done through the Flying Class mission as part of the main storyline. Before moving on to how to get Flying Broom, players must learn how to fly first.
